RWLL's Annual Board Meeting will be Sunday June 4th, at 7:00pm, at Arena Softball.
The Annual meeting where league members are elected onto the Board of Directors. All positions are up for election every year and are open to any member in good standing with the league. All members that attend the meeting can vote for those nominated for election.
The term for board members remains September thru August so, with new board members being elected in June, there will now be a 2-3 month overlap where new board members can work alongside current board members to have a smoother transition onto the board.
Every position is up for election every year. Some board members will run for re-election of their current position, some will run for election of a different position, and some do not return to the board.
Little Leagues are all run 100% by Volunteers. If you have, or anyone you know has, thought about wanting to make a difference and help to continually improve RWLL, now is the time!

Little league has adopted the following rule change for bats, effective next season, (Spring 2018.) We wanted to get this information to you now, as we know many of you may be purchasing bats for your child, with the intention of using it for years to come.
The following is directly from the Little League Green Book:
"Beginning with the 2018 season, non-wood and laminated bats used in Little League (league age 12 and below), Intermediate (50-70) Division, and Junior League shall bear the USA Baseball logo signifying that the bat meets the USA Baseball Performance Standard. All BPF - 1.15 bats will be prohibited beginning with the 2018 season. Additionally, starting in 2018, the bat diameter shall not exceed 2 5/8 inches for these divisions of play."
In summary, the bats that your child is using this year (2017), will not be allowed next year (2018), as they do not meet the guidelines.
Please know this information when/if purchasing a bat for your child this season.
